A Satisfactory Settlement.
The court case that WV Britain started against Channel 4 and the producers of "In The Name Of Hunger" has been settled.
The TV Channel and the Producers have made an open court statement withdrawing the defamatory statements, paying all the legal costs for both sides, and providing an undisclosed additional sum to WV Britain so that the result will be communicated to supporters and the general public.
A similar statement was made on the TV channel in the evening of January 16.
Included in the settlement is an undertaking by the producers that the program would not be copied or distributed.
