GOD STILL WORKS MIRACLES

"And many of the people believed on him and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done."

Are your thoughts about your faith great enough to expect miracles? One of the tragedies of modern Christendom is that it has become so matter-of-fact that it no longer expects the miraculous to happen. It attempts to explain everything in terms of logic and denies the reality and effectiveness of a simple faith.

Miracles are happening daily, only many people call them coincidence: The sick are healed after prayer; guidance is given in unexpected ways; a social outcast is transformed into a respectable, law-abiding citizen, by accepting spiritual forces he cannot fully understand; great needs are met in wonderful ways and many see God at work in human lives. This truth is so real that only those who refuse to acknowledge God and praise Him for His goodness, fail to see Him at work in human affairs.

Jesus Christ is still an operative Force in the world, and though there are those who would relegate Him only to spiritual and religious spheres, He is the Lord of All Life, and reveals His full glory in every area of human thought and action. Those who acknowledge His Lordship and place their confidence in Him experience the miracle of His Spirit at work in their lives. When you allow Christ's Spirit to work through you, you will discover that the age of miracles is not yet over.
